Hi Everyone!! Andreia here. First of all let me start by saying Happy New Year! I hope you all had loads of fun going into the new year. I had a very eventful night. I sat at home watching Bridesmaids and as soon as midnight hit I was like:

‘Yay great! 2019! I’m going to bed now’
at that precise moment I realised I am getting old..HAHA

Anyways today I will be sharing with you guys 9 life changing habits you need to implement into your life in order to have a successful 2019.

1. Plan your day

Since I started doing this I have found that my days have been more productive. Don’t get me wrong I have lazy days too but I love planning my day. I take 10-15 minutes every night before I go to bed to plan the next day. I also write myself a to do list so that I can physically check things off of my list. Seeing things being crossed off the list once I’ve done them makes me feel very accomplished and like I haven’t wasted my day.

2. Set yourself smaller goals every month

This is a big one for me because I can become easily unmotivated. I still set myself yearly goals and aspirations but every month I set smaller goals for myself that will help me achieve my overall yearly goals.

For example one of my yearly goals for 2019 is to take better care of myself. So every month I will set myself a smaller goal to help me take better care of myself. So Januarys goal is to not eat any take-aways and fast food. Not only will this help me take better care of myself but it will help me with another one of my yearly goals which is to save £5000.. 2 birds 1 stone.

3. Maintain a gratitude diary

This is one of the best things I could possibly recommend to anyone. When I am having a rough day and feel like nothing is going right I just read a few entries from my gratitude diary to remind myself that I have a lot to be grateful for.

4. Do 15-30 minutes of exercise per day.

This doesn’t mean you guys have to go crazy and sign up to a gym or start lifting weights. Something as simple as walking is very beneficial. Staying active releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy and being happy makes you more productive. Productivity = Success.

5. Budget

This one will take a little longer to implement into your life but trust me it will be worth it. I personally use the cash envelope method slightly tweaked to fit my needs. There are tons of budgeting methods out there you just need to find one that suits you best. If you would like to learn more about the cash envelope method then check out https://www.thebudgetmom.com/. She has tons of information and lots of free printables to get you started.

6. Have some phone & computer free time everyday

Since I updated my iPhone software it now tells me how much time I spend on my phone and social media and to be honest I was embarrassed when I saw the times on there. Set yourself some time everyday that doesn’t require the use of your mobile phone or your computer. You will notice such a big change in the way you look at the world and everything in
it. Since starting to do this I have started to believe in myself and in my aspirations so much more than I used to because I don’t have so much social media and its negativity in my everyday life.

Do you guys have any advice on what life changing habits will make your year a success that I haven’t mentioned? Leave them in the comments.

That’s it from me guys until next time
