
Akon Unveils Visuals For His New Music Video ‘Slow Motion’
Senegalese-American musician, producer, and entrepreneur Akon has released a music video for his song, ‘Slow Motion’.
The music video takes place in South Africa, directed by Nigerian music video director Sesan Ogunro. Featuring thirty dancers, motor rides, and spectacular lighting sequences, the visuals for ‘Slow Motion’ are amazing.
‘Slow Motion’ features on Akon’s latest EP ‘TT Freak’. Featuring the tracks ‘Enjoy That’ and ‘Prolly Cut’ featuring AMIRROR, his latest work is in collaboration with social media giant TikTok. In an interview with AllHipHop, he stated: “A lot of my old music has trended on the app so I decided why not just do an album just for it”.
Making his breakout into the mainstream almost twenty years ago, Akon has had several hits including, ‘Locked Up’, ‘Lonely’, and ‘Smack That’. Outside of his own releases, he continues to sign developing artists to his multi-faceted label, Konvict Kulture. He has also worked with several iconic artists, including Lionel Richie, Snoop Dogg, and Whitney Houston.
