Arlo Parks Continues to Shine on Latest Album Teaser ‘Blades’
Arlo Parks returns with another song off her new album ‘My Soft Machine’ in the form of ‘Blades’. She advertised her new release by buying a billboard she proclaimed on Radio One with Clara Amfo. Arlo is known for a blend of indie and poetic lyrics. (she started her career as a poet) Her latest release however is a little bit of a left turn.
‘Blades‘ has a driving beat and a chorus that allows Arlo’s voice to really shine. It’s a fun song, with verses that have a sense of threat to them. There is an undercurrent of sadness and of relationships being cut off within the track even through the bubbly production of the legend Paul Epworth.
Arlo Parks’ new album ‘My Soft Machine‘ will be out on the 26th of May. She is on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
