Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Are Back with New Single ‘Aww S**t’

Not much shocks me in the music industry anymore, but a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony revival wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card. You read that right – all five OG ‘bones’ have reunited after twenty years. ‘Aww S**t‘ is both the name of their ultra-catchy new single and the reaction of 90s hip-hop fans when they saw this drop.

I love where the hip-hop sound is at today – but admittedly, a lot of artists do lack a distinguishable quality that was so prevalent the 90s. Only the finest artists, across all genres, manage to cultivate a distinctive sound that you can only get from them. This Cleveland rap group has always nurtured a unique sound. Through their warm blend of melodic vocals and impressive lyricism, the platinum-record-selling posse has picked up right where they left off. 

‘Aww S**t’ features rapid-fire bars over a west-coast-inspired beat. The production is stripped down enough to let the double-time delivery hit. ‘If we have to pay a visit, you don’t have to ask who is it’, they rap. They have got that right. 

Furthermore, in a youth-dominated culture, the elder statesmen prove great talent never really ages. This single could have fooled me as being a lost track from ‘The Art of War‘ albums. The hook offers a rap-along moment that will get stuck in your head all day. 

The tight-knit crew is currently touring the US and is on the lineup for a staple event in the rap calendar, The Roots Picnic, in June. As the hip-hop community welcomes this group back with open arms, they excitedly promise more new music coming soon.
