Marin creates music that lends to the wave of indie R&B and her new single embodies her vibe fusing elements of pop and reggae that give ‘Work’ those summer island vibes, which is great timing for the upcoming summer‚ĶThink clubbing and rooftop bars. Lyrically, Breana writes about a relationship that needs communication to grow and last, “Who wants a heart with no passion.” Fans alike can relate to needing the work and commitment put into a relationship and she sings about it perfectly in this song, “A little more efforts all I need, to finally be open when you put some work in.”

It is clear from listening to the track why Breana is known for her hooks because “Work” is catchy to the ear and draws her listeners in, evident in her 12.6k plus listeners on YouTube and growing fans on Instagram. With “Work” (produced by Dylan Graham (Big Sean, Dave East), Benjamin Singh- Reynolds, and Coop The Truth) being her first single back since last years “Outside Looking In” she has come back with a new beat and more of her loved the energy.
