Carly Rae Jepsen Returns With More Synth-Pop Goodness on ‘The Loneliest Time’

Carly Rae Jepsen may be most remembered for the iconic ‘Call Me Maybe,’ but has kept herself busy with some great synth-pop. Now, she’s back with her sixth studio album ‘The Loneliest Time,’ which she recorded during quarantine. The album features just one collab from Rufus Wainwright and focuses on those signature bright, soulful vocals.

This doesn’t stray too far from the formula of catchy odes to love, but Carly just knows how to keep you hooked. Tracks like ‘Talking to Yourself‘ are just so addictive, that you keep coming back for more. With a new tour on the way and this great new body of work, it’s a good time to be a Carly Rae Jepsen fan.
