Christmas is almost here, but people are already planning for next summer. You might be considering getting a festival ticket as a last-minute gift. If that is you, then maybe look at what City Splash in Brixton has to offer. The event will be taking place right at the start of festival season on Monday 26th May (don’t worry, it’s a bank holiday).
Headlining this event is one of dancehall’s biggest stars Spice, the multi-faceted Teejay, The Bronx’s finest reggae artist Tarrus Riley, The Compozers who will be providing that live Afrobeat sound, and rising star Valiant. They will be bringing the Caribbean and African culture that this independent festival loves to give fans.
But the great artists don’t stop there. DJ AG is sure to make a splash as one of the biggest names of 2024. General Levy is a jungle MC you don’t want to miss, while garage legends Heartless Crew will be performing that nostalgia. There are also plenty of iconic sound systems on display with Saxon Sound, Rampage Sound, and Channel One set to bring the Carnival vibes early. Jada Pink, Liam Bailey, and Izzy Bossy are some of the other names to watch out for but to be honest, there are too many names to mention.
