Reopening the “Distraction” chapter of her story, Jade Leanne flicks through the pages of previous musings with the added perspective of new visuals.
This next installment follows the release of the “R.O.S.E” visualiser which depicted ethereal scenes of Jade Leanne surrounded by greenery. Continuing in a similar cinematic vein, Jade has joined forces with budding director Jason Tamou to narrate the connotation behind the R&B inspired single.
Opting for a monochrome colour palette Jade is giving listeners all the throwback feels complete with 90s inspired choreography. Aided by two other dancers, the video presents an optimal blend of sensuality and confidence, alluding to the acknowledgment of self-worth the singer describes on the song. The visuals also feature several shots of Jade speaking to herself in the mirror, likely symbolic of the track introspective nature.
Speaking on the song Jade shared:
“Distraction tells the fiery female perspective of the present-day game of love. Drawing on one particular experience, I wanted to make it known that I was the one calling the shots this time around.”
