Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Friday is here again, serving a fresh batch of hot new music. IndustryMe Editors Tom and Kloe have sifted through the best of the bunch and delivered you ten top tracks that are essential listening this weekend. We have new tunes from Bellah and Amber Mark this week, with RAYE kicking it up a notch with their new release. Whether you are a die-hard fan or are hearing about these artists for the first time, enjoy these sensational singles that deserve a spot on your playlist.

Tom’s Picks

RAYE – WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!

After some movie songs and a couple of collaborations, we have our first taste of the new RAYE album. It feels big and important as a lead single should, while the quicker vocal delivery fits that vibe. This song is full of expression, with the big band just as important as our lead. This is an artist riding the highs of success and now looking for the final key to her happiness. I get a new feeling from this record, which I’m interested to see more of very soon.

Bellah – Boo Thang Bootcamp

Yes, finally one of the biggest names in U.K. R’n’B is back! Immediately, those vocals hit you, and you’re reminded why this artist has the status they have. Bringing a beat that will have you swaying courtesy of Alexander Lewis, the aura on display will have you hooked. Bellah has come looking for the right one, and it won’t be an easy ride for that person. Fans will be glad this star is back and eager to see what is next on the agenda.

Kelli-Leigh – Legacy

Arguably one of the biggest dance vocalists to come out of the U.K., this singer has finally dropped her debut LP. The title track kicks off the record nicely, with the synths and kick drums bringing the energy alongside a positive performance from Kelli-Leigh. This is how you introduce a record: bring the energy, ease the listener in, and highlight what it is all about. This has been a long time coming, but this artist can finally showcase their talent on a full-length project.

Sammy Virji, Spice, and Flowdan – Match My Mood

This new album from one of the main men in UKG right now is packed with huge collaborations. However, this one certainly caught my eye. Sammy and Flowdan have made magic before, but Spice flows over this beat expertly. Certainly a tune to skank the night away to, with a sleek delivery from one of Roll Deep’s finest, this marks a standout from this record.

Ama Louise – I Don’t Mind

Starting off nicely with those electric guitars and those sensual vocals, Ama Louise reminds you of what a talent she is. This one is perfect for those late nights with your partner, as she directs her attention to proving to this person that she is the one. This is an artist who knows how to keep the listener’s attention and show off their vocal range.

Kloe’s Picks

Amber Mark – Too Much

The always-thrilling, critically adored producer/songwriter Amber Mark is back! She’s prepping fans for her new album ‘Pretty Idea‘ dropping on October 10th and I simply cannot wait. This new single flips a bonafide R&B classic – Alicia Keys and USHER’s ‘My Boo‘ to sing about her own complicated love story. She pairs this romantic, optimistic single comes with a self-confident music video where she looks completely stunning and is leaning into that ’90s/00s songstress energy.

All Time Low – Butterflies

This might come as a shock to anyone familiar with my music taste, but I really like All Time Low. Since my teen years, listening to their tracks have brought me a lot of guilty pleasure joy and ‘Butterflies‘ is really addictive. The band delivers some thoughtful lyrics on the track: “So what’s the point of holding on / When letting go’s the only way you’re changing / Stop waiting for the grass to grow / Catching butterflies that ain’t worth chasin’.”. You only need to listen once and you’ll never get this song out of your head.

Nia Archives and CLIPZ – Maia Maia

Make way for a new Nia Archives classic. The English record producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter delivers a high-energy fusion of Brazilian sounds and new-gen jungle. Here, she enlists CLIPZ yet again for a song that needs to be played at full volume. Unsurprisingly, ‘Maia Maia‘ is a track perfect for every rave that feels like it will sit well with both the mainstream and underground scene. Both of these artists have built such a strong artistic identity, and have brought the best out of each other in this track.

Gabriel Jacoby – the one

Funky, soulful and teeming with feeling, Gabriel Jacoby has hit a home run with his new single ‘the one‘. This track is an irresistibly groovy romance track which adds to the budding hype around him. Shaped by his upbringing in the rougher neighbourhoods of South Carolina and Florida, Jacoby self produces his records and brings an authentic feel to all his music thus far. I can’t wait to see the rise of this young talent.

Bee-B – Shoot Your Shot

For fans of the luscious vocals and storytelling of Jazmine Sullivan, Bee-B is the newest rising star to have on your radar. Her newest track builds anticipation for her sophomore project ‘Villian Origin Story‘ dropping on the 3rd of October. She’s sexy, liberating, ultra-confident and I wish I discovered her sooner. This single teases her love interest, provoking them to try their hand with her – ‘what you got to lose?‘ she seductively sings.
