Haunter is Set to “Illuminate” the Music World in 2021

Alternative pop band Haunter is lighting up 2021 with their new single, “Illuminate.”

Haunter has been releasing original music since February 2020 with their debut single “Love You Better.” Since then, they have been honing their skills and only getting better, as evident by their latest and fifth single “Illuminate.”

The new track is everything you want from a love song. Lyrically, the song focuses on the magic that comes with an all-consuming love when you find the person who lights up your whole world, the person who makes your life better and makes you whole. “Illuminate in my eyes,” Lucy LeNoir sings in the chorus. “We can set the world on fire.”

Guitarist Enoma Asowata shared the inspiration behind the song in a press release. “We wanted to write a song about those quiet moments in a relationship when you take a breath and realise that you’ve fallen completely and hopelessly in love with your partner,” the musician said. Something as the way they look at you, ignites this response.”

The strength of LeNoir’s vocals only adds to the power of the lyrics. Added to that are the ethereal sounds coming from Asowata on guitar, Mark Shroeder on bass, and Mike Ray on guitars and keys. Haunter knows how to perfectly blend that energy and elegance to create a truly mighty sound.

Another important component is the producer behind “Illuminate.” Haunter teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Tyler Smith – known for his work with LIGHTS, I Prevail and Falling In Reverse – on the track. He co-wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered the latest single.

All of these elements combined create a recipe for success.
