Pilton – Good for U (feat. NVSH)
Since the world has been in a state of disarray for over a year, many people have decided to take risks. People have decided to follow their passion and do what they want to do – and Pilton is one of them.
After establishing himself in the Pop and Electronic genre, the songwriter and producer has decided it was time for a change by creating the type of music he wants to do, with the release of his new single – “Good for U” featuring NVSH.
Pilton describes “Good for U” as “a statement of the artist he is developing into” – choosing to create a more of a Dark Pop-Punk/Rap sound.
Kwoli Black – Disrupt (feat. George Hand)
If you’re after a smooth, mellow sound to listen to this summer then look no further as Kwoli Black’s new single – “Disrupt” might be just what you’re after.
The second single of 2021 from the Hackney artist was produced by JSTRNGS and features vocals from George Hand. The combination of the R&B/Hip-Hop vibe, Black’s lyrics and the subtle, soft vocals of Hand result in a compelling track you’ll have on repeat.
Since his debut in 2017, Kwoli Black has dropped a number of singles including popular tracks: “’Til Infinity” and “After Hours”.
“Disrupt” is scheduled to be featured on Kwoli Black’s upcoming EP.
Cool Company – Who Knows
Following their remix of Doctor Imposter’s “Talk of the Town”, Cool Company have released their second single of the year – “Who Knows”.
The Brooklyn-based Future R&B duo (Cool Yan and Fat Matt) deliver a track in appreciation of the relationships in their lives and accepting them for what they are.
Described as an “upbeat lullaby”, “Who Knows” has an eclectic production, taking listeners on a journey. Starting off with an ambient introduction, the song swiftly transitions into its groovy rap verse followed by a smooth pre-chorus before entering its chopped and screwed chorus.
BXB LOVE – LOSERS
After the release of second single, “IGNORANCE SONG”, BXB LOVE tells listeners to “not get sentimental” in her new single – “LOSERS”.
The Canadian-born, L.A based singer encourages listeners to take a good look at themselves and embrace every part of who they are. Over the Electro/Pop-Rock beat, BXB LOVE talks about people trying to fit into a society they consider to be “normal”. However, what may be considered to be “normal” for one person may not be the same for others. So just be who you are because when it comes down to it, “We’re all f****** losers”.
Lagoon Wavey – The Shore
If you’re looking for a chilled EP to complement the sunny days and serene nights of Summer, then Lagoon Wavey might have what you’re looking for with his debut EP – The Shore.
The young Bajan alternative R&B artist’s 23-minute EP is comprised of 6 tracks which he has curated over the past few years. These songs include the sensual “Aloe Vera”, the popular “Confidential” and the atmospheric “Sunflower”.
The Shore is a mixture of alternative R&B and Electronica. Lagoon Wavey also pays homage to his Caribbean heritage as the album has a laid-back, ambient sound.
Vi0let – Toxic City
Emerging artist Vi0let explores the negative effects of toxic relationships in her new single – “Toxic City”.
Vi0let lays calm, delicate vocals over the mellow R&B beat in the Jomo Kru produced track. Described as an artist who delivers “empowering messages with a sense of vulnerability and strength”, you can feel Vi0let’s emotions throughout the song. This tone further amplifies the song’s message about the impact a toxic relationship can have on you – often leaving you feeling withdrawn and doubting yourself.

Mike Mineo – What Love Is
Nashville-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Mineo vents his frustrations in his new single – “What Love Is”.
“What Love Is” tells the tale of a battling a dead-end relationship. Produced by Reed Berin and Louis Johnson, the playful song allows Mineo to express his feelings in his heartfelt lyrics, taking inspiration from his personal life.
Mineo aims to inspire listeners to ask themselves this same question and hopes to encourage those who are in a dysfunctional relationship to leave and find true love.

NAZANIN – Dangerous
If you’re a fan of Dua Lipa and Camilla Cabello, then you should definitely check out singer NAZANIN. The NYC-based vocalist aims to inspire listeners in her fierce new single – “Dangerous”.
