As many of you are aware by now the majority of music/poetry/art I share is discovered on a submission basis.
The internet is a wide place and there is always music I come across that hasn’t necessarily been submitted to me.
That is what gave me the idea for IndustryMe discovers.
It will be a monthly or bi-monthly roundup of any notable covers remixes or original material I come across in my day to day.
Let’s get into it.
BWYL by Creeak
I discovered this song completely by accident on SoundCloud.
The intro reminded me of fireflies by owl city, which took me back to my high school days – always a good thing. Then the vocals kicked. This duo has amazing vocals. While each of their voices are distinct they shine equally as bright. The vocal breakdown with the bongos had me sold, especially with harmonies that followed. This just might be my new favourite breakup song.
Moha – cold feet
Many of you may remember a-side. Think of cold feet as the prequel. You guys already know I love Moha’s vibe and how his music always feels like summer to me. It comes a no surprise that I liked this track just as much as A-side. What I I particularly appreciated throughout was the way moha really told a story and captured my attention.
Reminiscent of Trey Songz and early noughties R&B this song is bound to spice up your life.
Shareef keyes Cooking Something
Brooklyn raised funk artist, Shareef Keyes and his live-band The Groove, release their long-awaited project. The album hones a distinctive sound that fuses ‘70s jazz-funk influences with a modern hip-hop undertone and features Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah.is a very eclectic body of work with the chilled R&B sounds of ‘Honey’ in addition to some more up tempo funk numbers.
Yellow – ISA
If Jasmine Sullivan and Chrisette Michelle had a love child it would be ISA. This girl can SAANG guys! Her riffs are out of this world but feel so effortless. Don’t even get me started on how it excellent her vocal control is. This song really resonated with me and is certainly one I’ll have on repeat.
Kdeem – Halloween in December
Many of you may remember Kdeem’s introductory interview last year. He returns with new single ‘Halloween in December’. With a provocative title, an incredible spoken word intro and a great storytelling ability the rapper kept me engaged during the 4-minute track. If you’re looking for something with a good flow and chilled vibe this is the song for you.
Osage ft Brielle right now
A little bit of summer to brighten up those winter days. Given the typical British weather this was certainly needed. This a track that is often playing in my headphones while I’m on my travels. Great vibe!

Only you by Provacado
If I could some up this song in one sentence it with be great vocals and awesome guitar riffs. I was completely taken aback by the falsetto I heard after the second chorus.
It’s a great song that I believe anyone with an ear for soul would enjoy.

Raw, real and honest. DeeRiginal holds nothing back laying his thoughts bare on each of these songs. With his unique sound and great ability to tell a story his music will really make you shut up and listen. In an industry surrounded by noise, his contemplative vibe makes for a welcomed change.
