More about Acoustic Live:
Award-winning, multi vessel platform, Acoustic Live is dedicated to keeping stripped back music alive, building a community, and providing a powerful platform that offers artists a chance to flourish is back with a new mission. Celebrating International Women’s Day.
Acoustic Live is creating an all-inclusive intimate space for everyone who identifies as a woman, for one of two reasons. The first, to create safer spaces for less confident women to talk about their aspirations in the creative industry – specifically music, without judgment. The second? Empowering women and highlighting the free opportunities that are available for them in the creative industry.

“We hold the belief that charitable purposes carry the fundamental factors of every community, especially in music. The reason behind our event is not to put the lack of support for women in music under a microscope, but to highlight the free tangible opportunities for said women. It’s particularly important to us to increase the accessibility of resources in the creative industry.”

More about Sony’s What If Programme

This partnership with Acoustic Live, to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, is another layer of their pledge to acknowledge and honour all people. Their involvement in ‘Women Connect’ is a chance to showcase What If’s appreciation for the female contribution within the creative industries – a contribution they commit to not only support, but facilitate and invest in.
