Kaobi Releases Latest Single, Been A Minute!

London-based rapper and singer/songwriter Kaobi just released his wavy new song titled ‘Been A Minute’. Coming in as his first song of the year, ‘Been A Minute’ is the second instalment of the Kaobi Cinematic Universe which plays on Netflix-esque themes within the visuals, bringing you binge-worthy music.

Following the great success of his debut single in 2021, he joined forces with 5five2 on production to deliver a feel-good anthem just in time for the sunshine! The Afro-Swing/Drill-inspired melody offers a fun and upbeat vibe that pairs excellently with the artist’s witty and playful lyrics.

Kaobi formally known as A.O, is from South-East London. With Nigerian heritage, he accredits his newly acclaimed alias to reflect his cultural identity.
