Jay Prince Continues a Busy Year on ‘New Day’

Jay Prince has certainly been active in 2024. Having collaborated with House of EL, Blue Lab Beats, and others, while releasing his own stuff, he has given fans more than enough. Now, we have yet another new single in the form of ‘New Day‘.
On production, Ken Samson brings a chilled, but wavey sound that certainly catches your ear from the get-go. The keyboard and synths in particular are sensational sounding. Prince catches the beat very well, delivered as polished as ever. Delivering lyrical verses and an infectious chorus, the message of persistence and looking forward is implemented well.
He’s ending the year in style, having performed at the London Jazz Festival last night. The only thing he hasn’t provided is a full-length project. Until we get that, ‘New Day‘ provides great listening with plenty of substance.
