Jaz Karis Tries Something New with ‘BACK 2 U’
Singer Jaz Karis has dropped her brand new single – ‘BACK 2 U’.
The South Londoner has become a prominent figure in the UK music scene over the past few years. She first came into the spotlight with her debut EP – ‘Into The Wilderness‘ – back in 2017. Since then, she has gone on to release several EPs including ‘Live from The Dairy‘, ‘Summer Stories‘, and ‘All Eyes On U‘. She most recently released the EP – ‘DEAR JAZ‘ – featuring the popular track ‘SIDE OF YOU’.
Now, with this new single, Karis has been pushed out of her comfort zone. Produced and co-written with Fred Cox, ‘BACK 2 U’ has a dance/electronic vibe, almost reminiscent of old-school garage. Meanwhile, Daisy Maskell and Ana Liasi directed the accompanying music video.
On August 20th, Jaz will appear at the Cloud X Festival in London alongside Sam Henshaw, Pip Millett, Kwaku Asante, and more.
