Indie-pop duo KTJ & CARLY return with their third single of 2021 – “Reckless”.

Twins Katie and Carly Haynes aka KTJ & CARLY are singer-songwriters and producers who have been making waves in the music industry for the past few years. Inspired by genres such as: EDM, Pop, Soul and R&B, KTJ and Carly have utilised these different genres to help craft their own unique, fresh sound.

After gaining attention on social media a few years ago, the duo attracted a new audience – which helped elevate KTJ & CARLY’s presence within the industry. Their first official single – “On Your Mind” was released in 2019 and since then the twins have released a number of singles and an album – Identity, in October 2020. Some of the duo’s popular tracks include: “Hidden”, “Holding On” and mostly recently “Taboo.” Known for their unforgettable melodies and hooky tracks, the duo has received praise in magazines such as: American Songwriter, Rolling Stone IN and Euphoria.

Now with their newest single – “Reckless” – the duo tells the intense tale of opposition in the rebellious track. “Reckless” starts off with KTJ & CARLY dipping into their R&B bag, starting off slow, building up to an intense Electric/Pop sound. The intenseness of the beat emphasises the issue of revelling in self-destruction rather than being overcome with vulnerability the duo sing about.

Earlier this year, the duo ventured into the world of film – scoring their first feature film – God Save The Queens – directed by Jordan Danger.

The pair are also scheduled to perform at The Hotel Café in Hollywood, California – so if you can, why not show them some love.

“Reckless” is now available on all music streaming services.
