KTJ & CARLY Return with New Single ‘Good Day’

KTJ & CARLY had a pretty productive 2024, which included the release of their debut album, ‘Forever Young‘. Some would take time out after releasing an important body of work, but not these two. ‘Good Day‘ marks the first release, post-record, and it’s a great start to their next phase.
There is a real husk in both their voices over this atmospheric production courtesy of the kick drums and the country-sounding guitar. They both harmonise nicely on the chorus as we have come to expect, as they cheekily talk about what they’d fantasise doing to their exes. It’s very tongue-in-cheek and performed as such.
The track feels like something in the duo’s wheelhouse, but the bluesy/indie production curated alongside Pink Skies feels refreshing. This is a nice start for the new era, and we can’t wait to see where else the sisters go next. If you’d like to see them live, they are supporting IDER on tour in April.
