Following the tragic killing of George Floyd by a US police officer, singer-songwriter Leah Music chose to express her pain through a heartfelt single which explores the injustices surrounding racial discrimination.
After posting a clip of the song to her Instagram, ‘A Letter To The World’ has garnered praise from several artists across the world including Jorja Smith, Tion Wayne, Yungen and Billie Eilish.
Wanting to use her and platform to positively impact the #BlackLivesMatter movement, Leah has demonstrated both passion and integrity with the release of her latest visuals. The emotive video showcases Leah as an artist with a level of maturity and creative depth beyond her years
Who is Leah?
The young singer has cultivated quite a presence on social media over the years through posting mashups and covers on her social channels. Choosing to focus on her education, for now, Leah had promised to wait to release her music once she had finished with school. However after sharing ‘A Letter To The World’ and seeing how well-received the song was, her mother agreed to allow the rising star to release this as her debut.
