PsychoYP & Azanti Release Visuals For Their Joint Album
PsychoYP and Azanti’s chemistry is unquestionable, so much so they have released a movie to their well-received project, YP & Azanti, Vol. 1. The 7-track EP is being paired with a music video, or mini ‘movie’, that showcases their art perfectly. The second installment of their venture is the slow, loving anthem, Ji Masun.
The video expresses a more playful side to the young artists, depicting loveable bachelors, while YP takes the role of the wingman. It is the perfect setting with the announcement of clubs opening here in the UK around June, maybe there is something to be learned from the duo hailing from Nigeria’s ever-growing music scene.
Having been released as the next part of the track Focused, the pair drawing inspiration to real life. The visual album begins with the single that expresses only admiring one person, with both YP and Azanti adopting an older image. Although the tone of lyricism is endearing and serious in terms of what they want, the video ends with the pair proving they can sing, and also dance to their tracks, displaying their amazing chemistry.

The entire album is one to look for while enjoying this summer, filled with production that is made for hip-moving dances or big group blow-outs, “I think, any type of music you are into, you will like the album.” Says Azanti in a recent interview. “You will like at least one song. Everyone says this is an R&B album but it’s not. You can’t really say what it is because there are different things – afro-fusion, R&B, rap, bashment…”
Be sure to keep an eye out for PsychoYP and Azanti’s future releases, every track is a fortress to their personality, we can only expect the same for their visuals.
