SHY FX has had a very productive start to 2025. Already he has released an acoustic version of Maverick Sabre collab ‘Risk It All‘ and his previous release, ‘Skanga Riddim‘. One of the OGs of the jungle scene, he has continued to craft great music and work with fresh talent. He is now back with another release, and working with hip-hop/soul duo, Children of Zeus. It marks the Manchester project’s first release of the year.
The song starts off wquite atmospheric and soulful before the drums come in alongside some bubbly synths. It feels like the two have blended their genres together, with that jungle sound giving it a danceable rhythm. The duo then give a great performance, expressing their lack of desire to deal with the issues of their current partner. Both singing and rapping are on point in displaying this feeling.
All artists involved have had productive starts to the year. Konny Kon and Tyler Daley have done solo features with the likes of Krept & Konan and [ KSR ]. It is always great to see top-tier artists from two different worlds collaborate, and we are grateful to have ‘On My Way‘.
