The Sugababes are correctly considered one of the biggest girl groups to come from this island. With countless hits including six numbers 1s, it is hard to dispute that fact. The original line-up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy has been back since 2019, but ‘Jungle‘ marks a new era. They are now independent artists, and this is the first release since then.
That bouncy house-pop production immediately has you hooked courtesy of Jon Shave, with the vocals hitting over this beat. This is a bop in every sense of the word, with great harmonies, a catchy chorus, and a track that is so much fun. And considering the lyrics referencing a wild love and staying strong to survive, that is exactly the attention.
The music video is very minimalistic but still allows each member to have their moment while showcasing the wildness and fun the song itself displays. They are set for a big year with a U.K. and European tour which includes headlining The 02. With a new album on the way, it’s going to be a great 2025 for their fans.
Sugababes are on Instagram, X, Threads, and TikTok. Watch the video below and read more news pieces here.
