The Sometimes Island is a duo from Los Angeles and Albuquerque, whose synth-forward take on Pop has seen much success on Apple’s Alternative Chart. Now to build on their achievements, they’ve dropped the movie-like visuals for ‘Acapulco.’
The video depicts Matt Blankenship Jr’s love interest getting fed up with being ignored and documents her journey to Acapulco, with him realising he needs to go find her. It matches the breezy, summer vibe of the song and will get the track even more traction for The Sometimes Island.
