London is home to many uber-talented independent musicians, and Pablo Amador is one of them. Let me introduce you to The Way Out Of Here. This is Amador’s alias under which he has just released a certified dirty rock anthem. ‘I’ll Be Away‘ is an instant addition to the playlist for rock devotees, guitar lovers, or just admirers of great instrumentation period.

2024 is my year of musical exploration. Despite being no rock aficionado, I can appreciate a sensational instrumentalist when I hear one. Laid-back rock bangers from Red Hot Chilli Peppers or even the more mellow tunes of John Mayer bring diversity to my music taste. ‘I’ll Be Away‘ fits that bill, housing exceptional drum and guitar work that you can’t help but nod your head to.

The Way Out Of Here

Despite the instrumental being the clear star of the show, this artist showcases a respectable vocal ability. The whole track is an ode to escapism, an out-of-body experience that carries a nod to 70s rock. I appreciate the insightful lyrics: “I can’t see past my own disguise so I shine a light to fight it,”. Yet, it’s the slow build to a supersonic guitar solo around the three-minute mark that won me. Sometimes, music can say what lyrics just can’t.

The track features producer Ula Wodarz and mastering from IndustryMe’s very own Santiago Abad. Their collaboration with the Mexico City-born artist promises an exciting and experimental future. Boasting a range of musical abilities from pop to progressive rock, Pablo seems ready to harness his effortless talents in his solo endeavours.

We’re looking forward to hearing what’s next for The Way Out Of Here and to what heights he can elevate his solo career to with such raw skill.
