UK Artist Wiggy Returns With New Single ‘Caught My Eye’
British summer might be well and truly over, Wiggy returns with some island flavour to bring a little piece of sunshine to these autumn months.
Enlisting the help of UK R&B singer Abel Miller and Yung Kaz, the rapper has produced a catchy song, which fuses the fun filled elements of dancehall, rap and R&B.

With over 18 playlist adds, 50k streams on Spotify and regular radio play, Wiggy’s EP “The Prelude” was very well received, laying the foundation for the stream of vibe filled singles that are sure to follow.
Wiggy has a particularly joyful demeanour and approach to life that is truly infectious, an energy that continues to shine through in is music.
Speaking about the inspiration behind his new Caught My Eye single, Wiggy says:
“Caught My Eye was inspired simply by a beautiful person that caught my eye. Too often we underestimate the power of a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. This track, I hope, gives someone the confidence they may need, too approach whoever it may be they feel a connection with. You may be in the club setting, taking a walk, roaming around the city doing whatever you do day to day. If you see that beautiful person, catch their eye, walk over and let them know how you feel! Never underestimate the power of a compliment.”
Both featured artists complemented the vibe of the track very well with fans of Yung Kaz being likely to be left feeling a little reminiscing on the slow jam rapping style championed earlier on his career.

Kaz’s unpredictable flows, keep listeners engaged and constantly wondering what he would do next.

It was also a pleasant surprise to see Abel Miller return to a more soulful vocal styling. The singer appeared to be back in his element, which made for a great addition to Wiggy’s dancehall inspired rhythms.
