Wolves debut brand New Single CNOFWMB
Los Angles band WOLVES return to with a mellow sound they like to describe as “Surf-Trap”.
The 3 piece urban-pop outfit based in Los Angeles, California, has officially released their newest single ‘Can’t No One F*** With My Baby.’
Sensual while retaining the bands familiar urban edge, this tracks presents a preview of what I believe will be a great fresh sound for the trio.
The playful and in places cheeky lyrics were most certainly a nice touch, giving real insight in to the bands youthful energy.
They trio have partnered up with pop-art/stop motion experts “Clutter and Paste” on developing a delightfully trippy lyric video which pays homage to the 1966 surf flick, “Endless Summer”.
The song is now live on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and all major streaming platforms.
“CNOFWMB” is a love letter to all the girls out there who are a force to be reckoned with.
“2018 has been a big year for women’s rights around the world…WOLVES stand in solidarity for gender equality and we have the responsibility to portray the empowered woman in everything we do,”
– Marc Avery, the band’s lead singer.
The band adds that this song can apply to anyone who’s had a strong partner in his or her life.
WOLVES have dubbed the song’s sound ”Surf-Trap”.
“We’ve always been inspired by The Red Hot Chili Peppers and wanted to feature some of the funk and surf elements in a hip-hop setting,” says Sean Carney, the trio’s guitarist. “Can’t No One F*** With My Baby” captures the feeling of an early winter drive along the PCH with that special someone sitting in the passenger seat—or in this case, the driver’s seat.
Catch WOLVES playing at NAMM on the Hilton stage Friday, January 25th at 11 pm.
