5 Things We Learnt From the Sensational Tahn Solo

Tahn Solo has made a name for himself with his commitment to his art and smoother-than-butter voice. I was lucky enough to speak with Tahn about all things creative. This is including his inspirations and his love for the people who have taught him all he knows. Here are five things I learned about this sensational artist.

Inspiration is all around

He is widely inspired by the things he loved whilst growing up. From old-school video games to people-watching, there is no end to where your imagination can take you when you let that childlike wonder flow into your work.

Always recognise other’s battles

In life, you will always see things from your own perspective. However, there is much importance in understanding how other people could relate their own experiences to your words. Everyone has their own battles and recognising that brings us closer.

You won’t know until you try

Even if you feel that you can’t do something or you’re not sure how, you’ll never know until you try. So many people miss out on opportunities because they don’t even try to pick up that guitar and see what they can create.

He loves hearing other people’s stories

For him, the best part of songwriting is how your work can be interpreted in so many different ways. Tahn avoids explaining the meaning behind songs. This allows him to hear how his words have influenced someone else to see themselves within him.

Be proud of your identity

With a stage name that is often mispronounced (something I endure daily also), Tahn makes sure that who he is comes across in all aspects of his work and life. Being proud of your name and who you are can sometimes take a while but it is always essential in staying true.

You can find Tahn on Instagram, X, and TikTok. Also, you can read more interviews here and stream his music below. Visit our YouTube channel to see the full interview.
