Deja Recreates Mulan In Brand New Single

Deja is back with her perfect spin on the Disney character, Mulan. In the short 2-minute track, the bouncy production and soft-spoken vocals reinforces the fighter energy within us all. The story is similar to that of the film, Deja, a fighter, advocate, and tantalising, fusing both R&B and Pop effortlessly. In our interview last year with the Birmingham-born singer, she described her music as “Bad. Ass. Bitch”, which is what radiates from this track.

She explains that “Much like Mulan, DEJA will ignore all rules to stand up for what she believes in. Long story short, don’t get in a bad bitches way. As kindred spirits, DEJA’s new single ‘Mulan’ reiterates what you already know; DEJA is the main character and you better treat her as such.”
